Looks Tier List

This looks tier list ranks outfit ideas for Steal The Show. It does not rank every catalog ID. Beta avatars still change, and the credited headset plus body bundles already give you a performer base. Your job is to finish a silhouette the seats can name in one sentence.

Build the fit with How to Build an Outfit. Plan pieces in the outfit planner. Compare songs on the song tier list so the clothes and the track agree.

S tier — easy stars

High-contrast concert lead. Dark base, one bright jacket or dress panel, clean head, headset visible. Works on gold and magenta washes. Judges can find your face.

Single-color formal. Suit or gown in one decided color, minimal back prop. Reads as “I came to sing.” Pairs with a spotlight from stage design.

Neon idol, two colors max. One neon and one black or white. Hair or jacket carries the neon, not five accessories at once.

A tier — strong if committed

Street dancer. Oversized jacket, simple pants, bright shoes. Leave room for movement in How to Perform.

Vintage crooner. Jacket, clean shirt, restrained hair. Excellent on slower songs. Weak if you then spam joke emotes.

Matched group theme. If the lobby is playful, a coordinated color with a friend can look planned. Still score other acts fairly in How to Vote.

B tier — situational

All-black stealth. Stylish in a mirror, invisible on a dark stadium unless you add a rim color or white shirt.

Heavy lore / meme stack. Funny in chat, noisy on stage. Works when the whole song is the bit and the lights stay simple.

Default-ish casual. Fine for a first lobby, forgettable against an S-tier concert lead.

C tier — you are fighting the room

Tiny layered details. Pins, micro patterns, extra belts. Desktop inspects them; phones do not.

Face-hiding stacks. Two hairs, a mask, a hat, and the headset. The credited mic cannot save a missing face.

Unfinished editor. Shirt missing, shoes default, accessories half-on. Mobile rush jobs land here. See Controls.

F tier — usually a star tax

Particle clothing plus particle stage. Nobody can find the dancer.

Giant backboards that eat the silhouette. Your dance becomes a moving wall.

Unrelated everyday flex that ignores the song entirely and clips every emote.

How to move a look up a tier

  1. Squint test: head, shoulders, legs still distinct?
  2. Light test: still visible on the wash you planned?
  3. Motion test: can you hold a groove without clipping?
  4. Sentence test: can a judge say the idea in five words?

If you fail one test, remove pieces before you add more. Beta clip issues are common; weekly updates may fix a bundle, but a simpler look wins tonight.

After a win, do not automatically add more accessories “to celebrate.” Winners often clutter the next lobby and fall a tier. Keep the sentence that worked. Change the song or the lights instead, using How to Win.

If two looks tie in your head, pick the one that survives a magenta wash. Concert color is the silent judge. The outfit planner has that line for a reason.

Use this list as a vocabulary with the tier list hub. An S-tier look is just a look the crowd can cheer without squinting.

A high-contrast, one-idea silhouette with a visible face that survives concert lighting on phone and desktop.

Is all-black a bad outfit?

It is B-tier until you add contrast. Dark-on-dark disappears under stadium shadows.

Do expensive items rank higher?

No. Readability ranks higher than limiteds that clip or hide the head.
